Description
Piston ring sets are generally divided into two types: gas ring (compression ring) and oil ring.
Its functions:

2. Thermal conductivity and heat dissipation
The temperature of the piston head is extremely high, and the piston itself is generally thermally conductive. The piston ring is close to the cylinder wall, transmitting a lot of heat from the piston to the cylinder liner and cooling water to avoid overheating of the piston and melting the top and pulling the cylinder.
About 70% of the piston heat is dissipated by the piston ring.
