The VD26/20 is SKL's classic medium-low speed high-power diesel engine, with a cylinder bore of 260mm and a stroke of 200mm. The guide sleeve is a key wear part of the valve train and cylinder assembly.

Introduction
1）Function: Press-fitted into the cylinder head, it precisely guides the valve stem in its reciprocating linear motion, ensuring concentric sealing between the valve and valve seat; it also conducts some heat from the valve, preventing valve sticking; and works with the valve stem seal to control oil consumption.
2）Materials and Manufacturing Process: Primarily uses high-phosphorus bronze, Cu-Pb alloy, or alloy cast iron; the inner bore is precision honed, and the surface has oil reservoirs; some high-end parts undergo nitriding/chrome plating to improve wear resistance and anti-seize properties; it is an interference fit with the cylinder head.
3）Compatible dimensions: 14mm valve stem diameter for VD26/20; precise control of guide sleeve inner diameter tolerance to ensure a cold clearance of 0.02~0.05mm; length must match cylinder head structure (compatible with 291mm total length intake/exhaust valve stems).
